As we farewell our boarders for 2022, we had the pleasure of hosting some of our new boarders for 2023.
On Tuesday afternoon, November 22, twenty-one of our new boarders and their parents came in to boarding.
Our current Girls Grammar boarders greeted them, showed them to their rooms and helped them get settled.
The girls went for a swim, did some bead work, and spent time getting to know each other.
Some parents stayed for dinner and enjoyed spending time with our current girls.
On Wednesday, we sent our new boarders off to school with everyone else while their families were introduced to key staff.
A presentation by the Principal, Deputy Principals, Facilities Manager, Director of Sport, Director of IT, Indigenous Liaison Officer, School Nurse and Finance Department helped our families understand our school and the boarding community.
I would like to thank all of our families who travelled great distances to give their daughters a head start for next year. Parents commented on the warm, friendly vibe felt over the couple of days and our current boarders enjoyed hosting the girls.
I would like to thank everyone who helped make this orientation experience such a successful one.

We have had a fantastic year and we wish everyone a wonderful break and look forward to welcoming you all in 2023.
