We will welcome back all of our boarders this term with our last contingent of girls due in on Saturday. We are really pleased to have them all back! The weather has become a bit brisk in recent days but lucky for us, sport has recommenced. Oztag started this week, touch football will start next Wednesday and netball the week after that. Girls are keeping active with their afternoon runs and walks. Musical practice has ramped up for the remainder of this term. The musical girls are certainly making up for lost time. We have welcomed three new staff to our Boarding team and they have all enjoyed their first shifts working with our girls. They come to us with a varied range of skills and experience. We have a science/math tutor and an english tutor amongst our new boarding supervisors.
This weekend we are having a pizza supper night, a trip to Allenstown shops and a fun day at the Botanic Gardens. The girls are also looking forward to some events that are back on the calendar for this term, especially the formal. The Year 12 girls are busy attending dress fittings and organising appointments. It is such an exciting time for them. Please remember to have leave in for your daughter every time she needs to leave the campus. We are being ever vigilant to keep us all safe and well during this time.
During our winter break we had new floor coverings laid in Kollar House. The carpet was removed to make way for timber-look vinyl and new carpet. Kollar and Jackson Houses are looking better every time we come back from a break. There are new lounges in Upper Jackson which look amazing.
