Term 4 is up and running and we are already having a great time. We started with a successful boarder parent meeting on Monday where our Principal, Deanne Johnston, did a presentation for our families. We welcomed our new Year 10 boarder, Ashlea. Ashlea comes to us all the way from Darwin.
Sport hasn’t missed a beat and we have already enjoyed netball and touch football. Next week futsal, volleyball and water polo start. We have just farewelled our All-Schools touch football team as they compete in Brisbane. Boarding had 10 girls in this team. Our Year 12 girls look formidable in their final year in the competition.
This weekend we look forward to heading to shopping, the night markets and the beach. It is great to see all the girls back and straight into the action. Alex has started her traineeship at the pool and is excited about her new job opportunity. We are also doing lots of tours at the moment for girls interested in joining our RGGS family. We look forward to many of those families becoming part of the RGGS community.
