Boarding is a big decision for some families. For our families, we have those that have known for years that this was the natural progression for their daughters. For others it is a decision that they have come to more recently. We embrace girls from the country, interstate and overseas, the Torres Strait and Cape York, and up and down the Bruce Highway. Families are looking for a safe, secure, caring environment for their daughters.
We offer events, outings and activities to keep the girls busy and engaged in the boarding community. This week we had a St Valentine’s dinner where the girls took the opportunity to dress up. We will enjoy pool parties, dance parties, the park run, shopping trips, the swimming carnival and movie nights in the next few days. The girls are out playing sport, auditioning for dance academy and the musical, going to homework club and tutoring. They have certainly hit the ground running. It’s lovely to hear the laughter, music and chatter filling up the boarding houses.
Staff are excited to welcome the girls, new and old. We have some delightful new boarders that are settling in well.
