The weather continues to keep us on our toes in boarding. We were planning a trip to Great Keppel Island this weekend which is now postponed. Also planned was a Senior Social with the St Brendan’s boys, but they are quarantined with the flu. So it seems that this weekend will be full of shopping, movies and board games. We are going old school!
We hope this rain is reaching to our families in need of it. We have had over two inches in the last 24 hours.
I spent last weekend at a National Boarding conference at the Gold Coast. The hot topics were around the corona virus, technology management and engaging students more actively in their study journey. We will be looking at best practice around these areas as we move forward. We also looked closely at the Australian Boarding Standards. Here at RGGS our boarding staff are committed to delivering a caring and professional service for our boarders. Our recent Child Protection, Fire evacuation, First aid, and Duty of Care training, completed by all our boarding staff, holds us in good stead in making sure we are offering your daughters the best care. Enjoy your weekend.
