At the last assembly the results from the Primary Swimming Carnival were announced with Williams House taking the overall title. The spirit award was awarded to Downs House for their cheering and support given to the swimmers. The day ran smoothly and the enjoyment the girls had on their faces was priceless. Thank you to the Primary Teaching Staff for the professional and caring way you worked during the morning it ensured the girls had a fantastic time.

Team of the Week
Week 6 - RGGS Rugby Union Team who defeated TCC and St Ursula’s College in their Rugby Union Fixture.
Week 7- RGGS Junior Debate Team who defeated the Rockhampton Grammar School in their debate.
Over the past weeks Rockhampton Girls Grammar has been very successful in local club and school-based sporting team competitions in the following sports: Water Polo, Rugby Union, Touch Football, Oztag, Basketball and Netball. Individual students have pursued sports such as surf Life Saving and Swimming and are attending State Titles for their respective sports. RGGS has started the year in a very strong sporting position in the local and wider community and should be very proud of their achievements thus far in 2021.
More outstanding results next week.
