State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP)

Eight of our Girls Grammar instrumental and vocal students participated in the State Honours Ensemble Capricornia Program, run through the Griffith University Conservatorium, from the 13-15 March.

Cadence Wone de Rungs, Kara-Lee Buckton, Charlotte Graham and Lily Geary represented the school in the SHEP choir, while Tyla Cringle, Maddison Hoffmann, Katlyn Whyte and Aleisha Cesar represented the school in the concert band.

The girls had the opportunity to work with experienced conductors and tutors over the weekend. This work culminated in a performance as part of their respective ensembles. The girls represented their school with pride, performing in uniform alongside around 150 students from Rockhampton and surrounding schools.
