Rockhampton Girls Grammar School is proud to announce the appointment of Tahnee Norris as our new Head of Boarding. A highly respected leader, mentor and trailblazer in Australian women’s sport.
Tahnee joins our community with an extensive career dedicated to developing young women, building safe and supportive residential environments, and leading high performance teams.

 

Her previous leadership roles include, Head Coach of the Queensland Women’s Maroons, Paddle Australia, the Australian Institute of Sport, Commonwealth Games Training Venues Facility Management and a variety of high performance pathway programs.

With experience spanning residential settings, pathways programs, elite sports environments and culturally diverse communities, Tahnee brings deep insight into the pastoral, social-emotional and academic needs of girls living away from home. This experience paired with her leadership ethos focusing on wellbeing, structure, safety and connection, aligns strongly with our School values and will further strengthen our boarding community.
