PARENTS + FRIENDS ASSOCIATION

The Rockhampton Girls Grammar School Parents and Friends Association (P&F) was proposed by the headmistress, Dr. A R Paterson and was officially formed in October 1951.

Since this time the P&F Association has established itself to be a vital part of Rockhampton Girls Grammar School. Offering an opportunity for parents and friends to contribute to the community spirit and success of the school by providing additional services, facilities and amenities for our students. The Rockhampton Girls Grammar School P&F Association meets on the first Thursday of each month.

The Parents and Friends Association of Rockhampton Girls Grammar School:

Keeps parents and carers informed about educational issues
Promotes parent support, providing support between parents, staff and the School
Fosters a sense of belonging in the School community consistent with the ethos of Rockhampton Girls Grammar School
Supports school and student activities through fundraising and volunteer work
Raises funds to improve the school, including facilities and amenities
Maintains a close relationship with School alumni
Encourages parents and community members to attend meetings
Promotes fellowship among the parents of past and current students of the School and all friends of the school community and our students

We strongly encourage all Parents and Friends of the school to come and be a part of the P&F Association and invite you to enjoy involvement in our wider school community. You can join by filling in your details below. The secretary of the committee will contact you with details of the next scheduled meeting.
