Rockhampton Girls Grammar School is a small, secular, independent girls boarding and day school catering for students from Prep to Year 12. The School is set atop Athelstane Range, overlooking the city of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. Rockhampton is 650kms from Brisbane and has a population of 120,000 within the City and its environs.

Opened in 1892, the School is one of the eight original Grammar Schools of Queensland. Operated under The Grammar Schools Act 1975, the Grammar Schools are statutory bodies under the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Act 1982. The School is a member of the Association of Independent Schools of Queensland (ISQ).
