SCHOLARSHIPS
At Rockhampton Girls Grammar School, we are committed to supporting students who demonstrate exceptional talent, commitment, and potential. With two scholarship pathways on offer, Academic Excellence and General Excellence, we recognise and celebrate the diverse strengths and achievements of every girl.

Scholarships provide up to 50% tuition and are available for students from Year 6 entry level.
Academic Excellence Scholarships
Academic Excellence Scholarships recognise students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to learning. These scholarships are designed to support high performing students who consistently strive for excellence in the classroom and show strong potential for future academic success.
New and existing students wishing to apply for a Rockhampton Girls Grammar School Academic Scholarship will be required to complete ACER testing from 2026. The tests are designed to challenge students, who will be required to demonstrate their ability to think critically and problem solve.
General Excellence Scholarships
General Excellence Scholarships recognise students who demonstrate outstanding achievements and qualities across a broad range of pursuits. These scholarships acknowledge students who show strength, commitment and contribution in one or more areas including academics, agriculture, The Arts, sport, leadership, community engagement, and other fields of personal excellence.
Students who have shown sustained commitment, initiative and excellence across these areas are encouraged to apply.

​Testing incurs a $150 fee payable to ACER upon registration.
Testing will be conducted onsite at Girls Grammar on 30 March 2026.

In order to apply for one of our scholarships, applicants must complete and submit an application package containing all of the supporting documentation outlined below;
