Another week down as we head towards the winter break. Cold weather and cold and flu season is upon us. The girls who are well are still living their best lives with our Year 8 and 9 fun night and dance held last Saturday night with St Brendan’s and St Ursula’s in attendance. Camryn and the Year 11 girls did a fantastic job of entertaining the masses. Fun was had and friendships were made. It is great to see all of the boarders having such a great time together and the senior girls stepping up and showing their leadership potential.
On Sunday we had nearly 60 Girls Grammar boarders head to the movies and shopping. A range of movies to suit the ages and interests of the girls were offered with the most popular movie being Super Mario Bros.
Today, Mrs Kara Krehlik and I will be heading out to Moura and Biloela and I am looking forward to catching up with current families as well as meeting some new prospective ones.
This weekend the Show team girls are off to the Ridgelands Show. Our indigenous girls are commemorating Mabo Day. They will be feasting, dancing and sharing the day with other members of the Rockhampton community and will be supported by Miss MJ and Miss Shania.
