Happy National Boarding Week! We are having a fantastic time celebrating the theme of “We’ll be there for you”. Mackinley, our Boarding prefect, has put together a short reel with the girls that has been shared on the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) Facebook page. Mackinley and the girls did this all on their own and they have done a fabulous job. We encourage you all to get onto their page and give us a ‘Like’ as the school with the most ‘likes’ wins pizza for their boarding community. As a small school we are going to need everyone to support us. ABSA has put the music over Mackinley’s interview at the beginning which is a shame but it is something we have learned from this year’s experience.
We started the week celebrating Tilly’s birthday – it’s perfect that our hard-working Boarding Administration Assistant celebrates her birthday during this week.
We will head to the Botanic Gardens over the weekend to have a morning of fun and games. On Sunday our week culminates in the girls proudly representing us in the Rocky River Run. Have a fantastic weekend.
