Bulls, Barrels and Broncs

What a fantastic event this year's Bulls, Barrels and Broncs was. We started the event at 2.00pm and were seeing families arriving as early as 12.00pm to ensure that they got a seat. With CQLX revamping their chutes and opening up the whole arena, it didn't matter where you sat, you had great seats.

We had a massive number of sponsors this year (19 in total), and the P&F are extremely grateful for their support in our biggest event of the year.

This year we were supporting two charities, (Breast Cancer and Women's Dignity Hub) We will always support Breast Cancer and continue to have the Jenny Leyden Barrel racing belt buckle that The Girls Grammar students ride for. This year's winner of the buckle was Francesca. This year we have added in the Women's Dignity Hub to support the vulnerable woman of regional Queensland access essential supplies such as shampoo, soap, food, and hygiene products.

In total we had about 1300 people come through the gate to enjoy an afternoon/night of entertainment. The riders didn't disappoint, as we started at 2.00pm and didn't finish until 10.00pm. With well over 100 rides, it was a day jam packed with action.

The P&F would like to say a massive thank you to all of the volunteers that help set up, work on the day/night and help pack up. Without you all, this event would not have been possible. We are very grateful for all of your assistance and really appreciate your help in making the night so successful.

To Jacqui Goltz and Liz Curtis, thank you you for everything that you do. Without both of you this event would not happen. Both Jacqui and Liz started preparation for this event in March. Thank you for your time, patience and your fantastic work.

To the Bulls, Barrels and Broncs P&F team, thank you for your support in ensuring the little odd jobs were seen to and the amazing work you helped with throughout the year.

Hope to see you all there again next year.
