Our First Nations students had an inspiring day at Dorrie Day in Gladstone last week.
Students explored a variety of career options by connecting with professionals from industries including government, mining, defence, corrections, Services Australia, employment services, universities and sport.
One student, Thomaxena, especially enjoyed speaking with the ADF Careers staff about the exciting opportunities available through the Australian Defence Force.
Experiences like Dorrie Day help students build confidence, broaden their horizons and start thinking about the many pathways available to them after school.
