Late last term, Rockhampton Girls Grammar School recognised and celebrated 10 years of service for Mrs Leonie Carroll.
Mrs Carroll joined Girls Grammar initially in OSHC before becoming a Teacher Aide. She has focused her career on caring for and educating children and young people.
Leonie thoroughly embraces the warm, supportive culture of Girls Grammar and continues her key role of supporting the learning and development of students across the school. Her passion for art is reflected in her after-school classes, assisting Primary and Secondary art lessons, and providing colourful and imaginative props and costume items for eisteddfod and Girls Rock performances and the school musical.
The students respond positively to the kind and gentle way she interacts with them, and the teachers, particularly in the Primary school, appreciate her valuable support in their classrooms. Leonie is also an active member of the P&F Association.
Congratulations and thank you for your many years of service. We appreciate your dedication and commitment to our school and for making it such a wonderful place to learn and grow.
