Congratulations to the Junior Basketball team on their very successful Interschool Competition campaign to start the year. The team started in division C and after three weeks of fabulous score lines, they were moved up to the B division competition. After a successful 74-22 win in their last round game on Tuesday against Rockhampton State High, the girls have now booked a place in the Grand Final. Miss Lacoste, our very own super coach, said the girls played their best game of the season last week with excellent teamwork and fast flowing play. Lets hope they can take that form into Tuesdays game.
The Grand Final will be played at the Girls Grammar Multipurpose Court at 4.00pm on Tuesday 28 March against Kingsley College.
This will be a tough game with Kingsley College taking out the round game earlier in the term. We would love a big support crew there wearing navy and gold cheering our girls on.
