Week 10 General Assemblies

We wrapped up Term 1 with our final assemblies this week, in a wonderful way to celebrate a big term of learning, achievement and community. Our Secondary Assembly saw the recognition of our "Team of the Week" for Weeks 5–10, a fantastic achievement that reflects teamwork, commitment and Rockhampton Girls Grammar School Spirit 👏

Across both assemblies, we announced the results from our Swimming Carnival and Cross Country, celebrating our Age Champions, 2nd and 3rd place getters, along with the all important Winning House! Downs House 💚 brought it home with a strong win in the Swimming Carnival and Paterson House ❤️ taking the win in the Cross Country with the House Spirit Award going to Smith House 💙 for both events!

At the Primary Assembly, we proudly presented certificates to students who continue to shine in our community 🌟and our Year 1 students showed us what it truly means to be a Bucket Filler.

On behalf of our school, a huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Rockhampton for generously donating free books to Prep students across the Rockhampton region in 2026. This ongoing initiative ensures every student receives a new book, encouraging a love of reading and actively promoting literacy 📚
