And that’s a wrap! The 2021 school year has come to an end. What a fantastic year we have had in RGGS boarding despite the obstacles thrown at us. We have had a great year making new friends, and doing things differently. We have been fortunate here in Rockhampton as we haven’t been affected as much as other regions. For me, one of the highlights has been the many road trips to much of Central Queensland, meeting new and current families. We still managed lots of fun activities this year including our trip to Great Keppel Island, trips to the beach, games and shopping. The girls enjoyed a fantastic boarders farewell dinner to celebrate the boarding journey of our 22 graduates. We look forward to meeting new groups of friends that will join our boarding family in 2021. We have planned many trips out to meet with many of you as well. This year has been busy and we are all looking forward to a well-earned break. We would all like to wish you a lovely Christmas break and are sure you will enjoy having your gorgeous daughters home. I would like to thank my boarding and RGGS staff for their continued hard work and care for our precious girls. Our thoughts are with our PNG families who will most likely spend another break without their girls coming home. Let’s hope the borders open soon for those girls and their families. Take care and we will see you all on Wednesday 27th January when our boarding house reopens.
