Developing friendships and making memories are a big part of a boarder’s life. As you will see from the photos taken over the weekend, the girls are getting every opportunity to do that.
We were fashion designers, creating fantastic outfits from newspaper. The girls modelled their creations with the senior girls integral in supporting younger boarders to get involved. We enjoyed a fabulous day at the beach where a simple sausage sizzle became a competition amongst staff as they showed off their barbecuing prowess. We also had over forty boarders hit the cinema and Time Zone on the public holiday.
This weekend we celebrate our mothers with a definite Mother’s Day theme running through our activities, looking forward to the photos from that too.
Thank you to all of our families that have completed the boarding survey which closes next Thursday. Hopefully I will see some of you at the Girls Grammar High Tea on Saturday where around fifteen boarders will be amongst the serving staff.
Wishing all our mums a fantastic Mother’s Day. We thank you for all that you do.
