Boarder long weekends are a chance for our girls to have a break from the routine of school. Many of the boarders are lucky enough to be able to spend the weekend with family or friends. This weekend we have a few girls staying with others at their homes and properties. We look forward to the stories and photos that will return with them.
The rest of us will go shopping, spend a couple of hours at Timezone and best of all, head to the Causeway for some fun and fishing. St Brendan’s will host us for this day out and we will be having raft building and fishing competitions, swimming and eating hot chip butties. On Friday night a special night is planned as our First Nations girls host local invited Elders for dinner with traditional food. All the girls in residence for the weekend will be attending this much anticipated night in.
As you can see by our photos from this past weekend, some fun was had.
