Farewell to Our Year 12 Graduates

ree

The final week for our Year 12 students was filled with laughter, reflection, and celebration as they marked the end of their school journey. The week began with a thought-provoking presentation from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service on making good choices, a timely reminder as our Seniors step into adulthood.

Students enjoyed a memories reflection session, thanking those who shaped their time at Girls Grammar, an Amazing Race through the Rockhampton CBD, with a relaxing outing at the Yeppoon Lagoon on Wednesday. Muck Up Day brought plenty of creativity and fun, with girls restyling their uniforms and enjoying light-hearted activities before their final assembly, which they proudly led. The traditional pool jump added to the joy of the day.

On their last day as students, we celebrated Year 12 Graduation with family and friends joining us from near and far. A personal reflection for each graduate was shared about their plans and hopes for the future. The ceremony included the cutting of the cake, singing of the school song, and many emotional moments. The finale was a Guard of Honour, formed by students from Prep to Year 11 and staff, as our seniors walked through the grounds one last time. With passion and pride, they gathered for the school war cry before running through the gates, ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025! We are so proud of you.
