During the recent school holidays, Alessandra (Year 11) attended the 2024 QUT Future You Summit Program. Placed in the Mathematics Stream for the four-day program, she engaged in discipline-specific sessions such as digital forensics, data science, mathematical modeling and programming, and astrophysics. These sessions included interactive activities and learning experiences, providing valuable insight into studying at QUT, particularly within the Mathematics Faculty. The program also featured lectures from QUT alumni about their career paths, entrepreneurship, and future jobs in the Artificial Intelligence industry.
Alessandra highly recommends this program to younger students who want to explore university life, discover future career options, and meet like-minded peers from across Queensland.
