The Board of Trustees, throughout this year, are working through the process of Strategic Planning with a key aspect of this being the re-development of the school’s Master Plan. Fulton Trotter Architects have been engaged by the Rockhampton Girls Grammar School leadership team to prepare a new Master Plan. The development of a new Master Plan is a significant catalyst to engage in the exploration of possible preferred futures. As current parents, you are a key stakeholder and we would like you to reflect on the current operation as well as future possibilities that could inform dialogue and deliberations on the future built environment of our school.
To begin this consultation process, and to initiate discussion on the strategic direction, we have prepared a questionnaire to give all participants a voice. Outcomes of the survey will be used as a basis for a contestable proposition and design assumptions, which will be further workshopped to focus on the vision for the new Master Plan.
The main outcomes of the Master Plan process are to:
Identify a list of projects for the School
Prioritise facilities to cater for enrolment growth
Isolate possible sites within the current layout of the school that would be priorities for future projects
Articulate the key values and experiences at the core of a Rockhampton Girls Grammar School Education and support them in the design of the future built environment
