Interschool Basketball Grand Final
The Interschool Basketball Grand Final was an exhilarating display of athleticism and skill against Glenmore State High School on Tuesday. Though the outcome didn't favour us, the journey was filled with moments that showcased our team's resilience and determination.
From the opening tip-off, it was evident that both teams were prepared to leave everything on the court. Glenmore High School presented a formidable challenge, with their cohesive teamwork, accurate three-point shots, and strategic plays putting us to the test from the outset.
Despite facing an uphill battle, Girls Grammar approached the game with unwavering resolve. Our players displayed remarkable skill and determination, matching Glenmore's intensity every step of the way. Each basket was hard-fought, each defensive stop earned through sheer grit and determination.
In the end, despite our best efforts, Glenmore emerged victorious with a final score of 35-20. While the outcome may not have been what we hoped for, we hold our heads high knowing that we gave it our all and left everything on the court. Congratulations to Glenmore High School on their well-deserved victory. Your sportsmanship and skill were truly commendable.
To our players and Miss Lacoste thank you for your unwavering dedication and commitment throughout the season. While the outcome may not have been in our favour, your pride shone through in representing Girls Grammar with honour and integrity.
Here's to the spirit of interschool competition, where victories and defeats alike serve as testaments to our resilience and our determination to go one better next year.

Interschool Rugby 7s Grand Finals
This Sunday 24 March sees a battle of the Grammar schools as Girls Grammar takes on RGS in the Grand Final of the Open Girls Interschool Rugby 7s Competition.
The teams will battle it out at 6.00pm at Rugby Park. With RGS playing in all three girls divisions, we know they will have a large crowd there, so we need an even bigger Navy and Gold crowd there to cheer our girls home, so get on down to Rugby Park for an afternoon of rugby fun.
Our girls have the advantage going into the Grand Final, defeating RGS 17-10 when they last met in their round game clash, but as we know, Rugby 7s scorelines can change in an instant with the bounce of the ball going your way or not. This fast-paced game is always keeping us on our toes, but the girls have left nothing to chance preparing well in their final training session on Monday.
Good luck for Sunday Girls!
It is a full afternoon of action-packed rugby with the boys Interschool Rugby 15s Competition Grand Finals also being played. Games kick off at 3.00pm.
