On Tuesday 11 June, Rockhampton Girls Grammar School students presented their musical talents at the End of Term Progress Concert held in McKeague Hall. The concert featured a range of performances from students at varying stages of their musical journey, with some appearing on stage for the first time.
The program included piano, string, woodwind, brass, vocal, and drum kit performances, allowing students to demonstrate skills developed over the semester. The concert provided a valuable performance opportunity in a supportive environment, helping students build confidence and stage experience.
Thank you to instrumental music staff Christina Bond, Alyssa Black, and Aleisha Cesar for organising and preparing students for the event. Appreciation also goes to Cadence Wone De Rungs for MC duties, Kaitlin Graham for photography, and Matthew Cook for managing sound and lighting on the night. Also a thankyou to Sophie Pelizzari for organising students backstage.
Congratulations to all involved for a successful evening of music-making.
