Show Team Success!

Last term, our Show Team had a fantastic opportunity to partner with Rockhampton State High School through their Agricultural Department. Our girls worked closely with the RSHS steers, fondly named after some of our favourite lollies including Jellybean, Jaffa and Jawbreaker.

We competed at the Ridgelands, Yeppoon and Rockhampton Shows across the Junior Led Steers, Junior Paraders and Junior Judges competitions. At the Rockhampton Show, we also took part in the Secondary Schools Challenge and were proud to finish as runner up, narrowly missing first place to St Brendan’s College.

Our girls represented our school with pride and professionalism, and we were thrilled to receive such positive feedback from both fellow exhibitors and show societies.

Next term, we look forward to working with next year’s steers as we begin breaking and handling in preparation for the 2027 show season. We are incredibly proud of our team, their attitude, their achievements and their excitement for the future. Congratulations girls.
