Our Prep to Year 11 students stepped out of 2025 and into a world of imagination as they gathered for the annual end-of-year party - this year themed The Time Travellers’ Ball. Led by our creative and energetic Year 11 cohort, the morning was a vibrant celebration filled with colour, activity, and plenty of fun.
Despite the boiling hot weather, spirits remained high as students eagerly collected their 'passports' and passed through Passport Control, ready to journey across eras. A highlight of the morning was the incredible 'time portal' constructed by our talented Year 5 students. Positioned on the stage for the costume parade, the portal set the scene for a dazzling display of outfits from across history and the future.

Students adventured through a range of themed rooms, each offering hands-on fun. Ancient Rome hosted lively pool-noodle sword fighting, while Ancient Egypt challenged students with competitive mummy wrapping. Our 2000s room burst with fluoro activities, from friendship bracelet making to face-painting and bowling. There was also a futuristic escape room that tested problem-solving skills, and a photobooth for capturing treasured end-of-year memories.
For those brave enough to enter Jurassic World, dinosaurs lurked around every corner - and icing dinosaur cookies quickly became one of the most popular treats of the day. Meanwhile, the hall transformed into a vibrant dance space, and a quieter movie-and-popcorn room offered a cool retreat. To beat the heat, icy Zooper Doopers were a welcome refreshment, and a few students finished the morning with a well-deserved dip in the pool. The celebration concluded with another spectacular spread from our incredible catering staff.

A huge congratulations to our Year 11 students for leading such an imaginative and joyful event, and a heartfelt thanks to the girls for the wonderful effort put into the costumes. What a fantastic way to finish the year!
