The Year 4 students recently enjoyed their camp experience right here at Girls Grammar. We had the opportunity to experience a little of boarding life, beginning with a delicious dinner in the dining room before setting up for the night in the MMPH. Excitement was at an all-time high as we watched a movie together before settling down for our sleepover. For some students, this was their very first night away from home, making it a big milestone and a chance to prepare for next year when they head down to the coast.
As always, we had bright and early risers ready to go the next morning. After breakfast, the girls spent the day in the hall enjoying a full program of activities. These included decorating their very own pillowcase as a memento of camp, taking on a STEM challenge to build the tallest tower from bamboo sticks and marshmallows, and enjoying some relaxed time to simply be together.
We are incredibly proud of this friendly, energetic, and positive group of girls who embraced every part of the experience. It was a camp full of fun, teamwork, and wonderful memories.
