Over the past three years we have seen continued growth and positive changes within our school community. Due to the growth in our Prep enrolment numbers, we will be taking a historic step by introducing two Prep classes in 2024.
While we celebrate this growth, I want to emphasise our continued commitment to maintaining the warm and inclusive environment that makes Rockhampton Girls' Grammar School special. Our school prides itself on embracing diversity within our community and ensuring every student feels valued and supported.
With the introduction of the additional Prep class, we will designate the Early Learning Centre as a dedicated space for our youngest learners. Our 2024 Year 1 classroom will be located in the Discovery Centre adjacent to Year 2, ensuring a smooth transition for our students as they progress through their early years of education.
It was exciting to welcome our incoming Prep students for their first transition visits this week, and we can't wait to have all of our new students join us for our official transition day on Wednesday, 22 November. This date is just around the corner, and it's hard to believe how quickly the school year is drawing to a close!
