Term 4 always contains so many endings and so many beginnings.
This may sound strange for the final term of the year however, for example: whilst saying goodbye to our Year 12 leaders we have been inducting and working with our Prefect leaders for 2023.
We have been watching our younger students conclude their Primary School journey at our Assembly on Thursday whilst planning for their transition into Secondary.
We have been farewelling our Year 12 students (and others) last week, whilst welcoming many more into our Girls Grammar community with our School’s Transition Day on Wednesday.
The end of the year is just as exciting as the start!
There is always so much to celebrate at this school - our students, our staff, our achievements.
For me personally, one of the most remarkable things contributing to my joy of working at this school is ‘the team’.
From our Facilities staff to our Board of Directors, there is a cohesiveness and a passion for Girls Grammar that is infectious.
It is also evident in our students who have wholeheartedly engaged in this week’s activities which provided opportunities for them to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones.
None of this happens without a lot of hard work from everyone involved, including our students.
As such, I wanted to thank our students, families and staff for the year that has been, and wish everyone a safe and well-deserved break over the holiday period.
I look forward to working with you all in 2023 and a new year filled with possibilities.
