The highlight of this week was Tuesday's Melbourne Cup Dinner.
After making a grand entrance, both ladies and gents (some girls going to the extra effort as dressing as dapper gentlemen) sat down for main course which was an alternate drop of Chicken Kiev or BBQ Pork Ribs accompanied with sweet potato mash and broccolini. A fashion parade and watching of the 'race that stops the nation' followed, prior to indulging in the mixed berry panna cotta dessert. The girls thoroughly enjoyed being served by their boarding mistresses who were waitresses for the evening.
