Girls Grammar Competes in the 7 Rocky River Run

The annual 7 Rocky River Run took place on Sunday 18 May along the scenic banks of Rockhampton’s Fitzroy River. Proudly sponsored by Seven Central Queensland, the event drew hundreds of participants from across the region for a morning of competitive and community running.

Rockhampton Girls Grammar School had a strong presence at this year’s event, with 47 runners taking part across the 21.1km Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and 2km races.

The school was pleased to finish 8th on the Team Leaderboard, a solid result among a large and diverse field of teams. It was great to see students, staff, and supporters getting involved, whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines.
