Motherland Luncheon

We were proud to be part of the Motherland Luncheon, celebrating rural women and the strength of community.

Our Principal Kara Krehlik, Deputy Principal Kathy King, and six of our amazing student volunteers represented Girls Grammar with pride, and we were delighted to support the event as a sponsor.

It was also a highlight to see Girls Grammar mother Claire Mactaggart featured as a guest panel speaker, sharing powerful insights into life for rural women.

Motherland plays a vital role in reducing isolation and strengthening connection for women across rural Australia, and the impact speaks for itself, with 98% of women involved reporting improved mental health through the community it creates. Rural mums truly are the backbone of farming families and regional communities, and it was inspiring to be part of a day dedicated to honouring them.
