Bella Voce – A Resounding Success!
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our RGGS small vocal ensemble, Bella Voce!

After receiving a Highly Commended award for their stunning performance of Blackbird in the Small Vocal Ensemble section on Monday night 19 May, the group continued to impress on Tuesday. Their breathtaking rendition of Scarborough Fair earned them First Place in the Folk Group category, followed by another First Place in the Glee Group section with their electrifying performance of Defying Gravity/Go the Distance.

These accolades reflect not only their remarkable vocal ability but also their dedication and teamwork. Their heartfelt performances captivated both the adjudicator and the audience, leaving a lasting impression.
We couldn’t be prouder of every Bella Voce member for their hard work and commitment. Bravo, girls!
Molti Voce – A Hard-Earned Victory
The competition was fierce in this year's secondary school choir section, with just one point separating each placing among four competing schools. Amid such tight rankings, RGGS Molti Voce triumphed, taking out First Place!
Their stunning vocal blend and dynamic range shone in two contrasting pieces - the classic nursery rhyme Sing a Song of Sixpence and the earthy, evocative Adiemus. Their dedication and musicality truly paid off. Molti Voce also won the Colvin Family Trophy for the Most Outstanding Vocal Choir of The Eisteddfod. Congratulations girls!
Prep to 3 Choir – A Charming Debut

For many students, this was their first time on stage - and what a debut it was! The Prep to 3 Choir performed the beloved children’s song Going to the Zoo, bringing joy and energy with vibrant costumes and adorable props. Their engaging performance won First Place, delighting the audience.
4 to 6 Choir – A Stunning Harmony

The 4 to 6 Choir captivated audiences with a breathtaking two-part harmony performance of Dream a Little Dream. Their enchanting delivery earned them 84 points, a remarkable eight-point lead over second place.
The adjudicator even remarked that composer Kather Ruhle would be proud of their interpretation. This group also won the Margaret Harvey Memorial Trophy for the Most Outstanding Primary School Choir of the Eisteddfod as selected by the adjudicator.
Terrific work, girls!
String Ensemble – Poise and Precision

The Strings Ensemble delivered an exceptional performance in the Secondary Strings Ensemble section, securing Second Place out of ten competing groups.
The adjudicator praised their confidence and cohesion, describing their playing as “smartly articulated” with “a real feeling of style.” Congratulations to our talented string players!
Concert Band – A Fierce Contest

Performing a stirring rendition of The Wellerman, the RGGS Concert Band showcased skill and musicality in an intensely competitive field.
With 93 marks, the ensemble secured Second Place, narrowly edged out by their competitors. Despite the tight race, their performance was nothing short of remarkable.
