Undefeated and steam-rolling the competition, our senior debating team is yet to lose in the Rockhampton and District Debating Competition.
Last night our girls - Kailee Butcher, Taylor Busbridge and Brianna Austin went up against St Brendan's in our Paterson Museum to debate 'Money is the root of all evil'. We, as the negative team, had some very compelling arguments and rebuttals to dismiss the competition. The adjudicators were very impressed with how articulate and well-presented the RGGS girls were in both manner and matter of the debate and stated how your girls are still 'a force to be reckoned with'.
July 31 will be the next round against the Rockhampton Grammar School at their campus.
