As we wrap up Semester 1, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work, growth, and resilience shown by our students over the past months. It’s been a busy and rewarding term, and now it is time to pause and recharge.
To all our students, families and staff, I wish you a safe and restful break. I hope the holidays bring opportunities to relax, enjoy quality time with loved ones, and engage in activities that nourish you.
A few reminders for students as we head into the holidays:
Check uniforms to see if anything needs updating before Term 3. Some students have grown so tall already this year and hems may need to be let down. Blazers might require a dry-clean and shoes may need polishing.
Clean out school bags – Don’t leave this until the last week; you never know what treasures might be hiding!
Work on your sleep hygiene - try going to bed at a regular time and unplugging from devices earlier. Good sleep sets you up for a great term ahead!
Stay safe - whether you're out with friends, online, or at home, take a moment to think things through to make good choices.
Looking ahead, Term 3 is set to be a particularly busy one, filled with school events, camps, and excursions. It will no doubt fly by, especially for our Year 12 students as they approach the final stretch of their school journey.
I’m excited for what’s to come and look forward to supporting our students into Semester 2.
