Rockhampton Girls Grammar School is offering a Women in STEM Mentoring program with interested students in Years 9 and 10, and RGGS Old Girls. We are looking for expressions of interest from students with an interest in the STEM areas. Please see below for more information. Please submit your expression of interest including a statement of why you are interested in no more than 250 words by 3.00pm Wednesday 1 July.
Purpose:
To link Old Girls and current year 9/10 students in STEM fields and help students navigate subject choices/opportunities etc (Scholarships/camps) and career options.
Time commitment:
It is envisaged that the initial program will be facilitated through the School and require no more than 3 meetings (launch event and 1 meeting per term) during Semester 2, 2020.
