Honouring Her Legacy: RGGS OGA Welcomes 2025 Hall of Fame Inductees

The RGGS Old Girls Association held the third annual Hall of Fame inductions at the School on Saturday 13 September.
Selection to the OGA Hall of Fame (other than attending RGGS as a student) is based on the following criteria.
Attained notable achievement in her professional career such as law, education, medicine, science, journalism etc.
Achieved outstanding success in a trade, business or industry.
Demonstrated high achievement in one or more recognised fields of cultural endeavour such as music, theatre, dance or literature.
Demonstrated high achievement in one or more recognised sporting fields.
Made an impact on the community through public service or community leadership, OAM recipient.
Made an impact at RGGS through service, volunteerism or other contributions to the School and OGA.
We inducted six awesome women this year:
Alice Clark (Jackson) OAM RGGS Student 1927-1928 Community Leader, 1985 - Awarded Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in recognition of service to the community.
Heather Fraser RGGS Student 1971-1975. Dynamic Educational Leader.
Beatrice Hutton RGGS Student 1908-1910. The first woman to be admitted to an Architectural Institute in Australia.
Dr Gabrielle Matters (Bottcher) RGGS Student 1960-1963. World renowned educational assessment expert.
Edith Neish (Broadfoot) RGGS Student 1928-1931. Well known artist for oil and china painting, wood carving and as a commercial artist with her own studio, Arts Ad Advertising.
Dr Jen Taylor RGGS Student 1986-1990 Executive Director (Future Industries) CSIRO.
