Further to recent successes, the Rocky Show witnessed a spectacular performance by our Show Team of 24 dedicated students, who took on the Feed Pro Schools challenge with enthusiasm and determination. The team showcased their skills in the Junior Paraders and Junior Judges competitions for both Stud and Prime cattle, earning numerous accolades and high praise.
Rockhampton Girls Grammar School was awarded Runner Up in the competition, narrowly missing the top spot by just a few points. The students' sportsmanship, professionalism, camaraderie, and positivity shone brightly as they engaged with peers, other schools, and the public.
Among the standout moments was the exceptional performance of Alissa Fort and Jess Chapman in the Regional Finals for Stud Cattle. Additionally, Jess clinched victory in the Regional Finals for Junior Judging Prime cattle, earning her a spot at the prestigious Ekka in August.
A heartfelt congratulations to Jess and all our students for their remarkable achievements. Our success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our wonderful parents, to whom we extend our deepest gratitude.
The Rocky Show was a testament to our students' pursuit of excellence and their commitment to representing our school with pride. We look forward to their continued success and future endeavours.
